10+ years of software and programming experience:
Data Analysis: I’ve composed complex queries and routines to extract specific data from large MySQL databases. I’ve used many tools to parse data from various sources and formats to create compelling visual aids for my own and others’ presentations.
I’ve built tools and scripts to perform updates and other transactions on large datasets, including scripting for exception handling, monitoring, validation and verification processes.
General Computing: I’m comfortable with common office applications, including messaging, email, calendars, spreadsheets, documents and presentations using Microsoft, Google and other platforms.
Coding is my primary hobby and the major focus of my personal development. Largely self-taught, my website is my playground for testing new knowledge and ideas.
10+ years of manufacturing experience:
CNC: I have set up, programmed and operated a variety of computer controlled machines including Haas & Datron milling machines, Amada brake presses & other forming machines. I’m familiar with G-code, modifying provided programs when needed to meet production needs.
Other machinery: I have experience with a wide variety of manufacturing machinery, including cam-driven and other screw machines (Tornos, Bechler, Hardinge), vertical mills, lathes, surface grinders, plastic injection and other molding and coining presses, extruding and continuous casting, rolling mills and brake presses.
Materials: I have experience working with of a variety of materials and types, including structural steel, sheet steel, machining metals including copper, brass, bronze, cast iron, precious metals, plastics, fiberglass, wood and wood products.
Equipment: I have experience safely operating a variety of tools and equipment used manufacturing, including vehicles, forklifts, hoists, cranes, power tools, etc.

Safety always comes first. I maintain awareness of my surroundings and the conditions in which I operate. I gladly follow all safety guidelines and regulations to keep myself and my team safe and healthy at all times.
I’m passionate about quality and take personal pride in the quality of my work. I understand the downstream costs associated with sub-standard product reaching internal and external customers.
I’m always focused on discovering and implementing efficiencies. I apply Lean principles to both tangible processes and my coding.
I’m dependable. I have no issues with punctuality or attendance. I can be counted on to stay focused without close supervision and maintain a high degree of self-reliance.
While I have leadership experience, I prefer to share my knowledge as a peer to help the growth of my team and am not interested in pursuing a leadership track.
I enjoy volunteering on local trail maintenance, forest restoration and litter cleanup projects. I contribute to open source projects where my skills permit. I stay active year-round exploring the region’s forests and mountains on foot and snowshoes.
